Having listened to reports about the carried out preventive work in territory of Verhneketsky, Bakcharsky and Tomsk regions of oblast, the governor has put before heads of regions and settlements a problem to struggle more actively with hemp crops. The presence of a local raw-material base for manufacture of drugs — the problem which essentially influences both on criminogenic, and narcological situation in the region. For example, only on territory of Tomsk region crops of a wild-growing hemp occupy 263 hectares. Annually regional budget directs means to municipalities for struggle against a wild-growing hemp. This year it is allocated 300 thousand roubles. However the regional authorities should search and find resources too, the head of region considers.
