Victor Kress has met the best sportsmen of the Tomsk region and has handed over certificates on apartments to Tomsk-Olympians
The governor of the Tomsk region has held traditional on the eve of the Day of Athlete meeting with the best sportsmen and trainers of region.
Victor Kress has noticed that during the last years in the regions of the oblast, in the regional center tens and even hundreds sports objects are put into operation. But in plans of the regional authorities and the party «United Russia» to turn over for operation this year a track and field athletics complex of world class where, according to the governor, «should appear Olympic champions». Opening of a covered ice arena is expected in autumn, new athletic fields start to open already. The most important, according to the governor, that they weren’t empty.
Victor Kress has personally handed over certificates on the governor’s grant to the best sportsmen and trainers, certificates of masters of sports, certificates of honor of regional administration. Certificates on receiving of one-room apartment also have been handed over two Tomsk Olympians Denis Dolgodvorov and Ekaterina Stoljarova. Thus, according to Maxim Maksimov, the chief of Department on Youth Policy, Physical Training and Sports, the governor’s rule «has got on the Olympic Games — has received apartment» continues to operate.
