Victor Kress has met the Chairman of the Government of Russia Vladimir Putin
The governor has told to the Chairman of the Government about the social and economic situation in the region. In particular, their conversation has concerned the idea of creation in Tomsk a federal centre of innovations, researches and workings out. Vladimir Putin has charged to the minister of economic development Elvira Nabiullina to make offers on creation of such centre in Tomsk.
The chairman of the Government has charged to study also the question on speeding-up of the beginning of construction of an atomic power station near Tomsk.
The suggestions of the governor about regional participation in the modernization of the Russian public health services, declared by Vladimir Putin, will be considered during the working out of the federal program.
As a result of the conversation the destiny of two objects of the Ministry of Defence in Tomsk has become more certain. Vladimir Putin has promised to Victor Kress personally to talk over with the Minister of Defense Anatoly Serdjukov about possibility of transfer to the regional property of the Officers' House (Dom ofitserov). To the Vice-premier Alexander Zhukov, to the minister of social development Tatyana Golikova and to the Minister of Defence Anatoly Serdjukov it is entrusted to make a decision, coordinated with the regional authorities, about the destiny of a liquidated property complex of Military-medical institute.
It is entrusted to the Minister of Finance Alexey Kudrin to solve a question on compensation of means of the regional budget spent for building of a dam near Eushta.
It is committed to the Vice-premiers Igor Sechin and Alexander Zhukov to support Tomsk citizens who are interested in the further successful game of football club «Tom'" in the higher football battalion of Russia.
