Tomsk region and «Russian Fuel Company» have agreed about cooperation in sphere of small energetics
As the news agency "RIA Novosti" reports, the administration of the Tomsk region and JSC "Russian Fuel Company" plan to develop in common the enterprises of small energetics, in particular, working on peat, woodworking waste and brown coals.
"We have signed a frame agreement with administration of the Tomsk region according to which we will develop activity here ", - the director of the company Nikolay Brykin has informed.
As he said, the territory of the Tomsk region is very interesting to the holding, as the stocks of not only hydrocarbon raw materials, but also of peat, brown coals here are concentrated. Thus the regional power is open to cooperation.
"A promising cooperation... The cost price of such fuel is totally another. Especially taking into account the remote northern areas. There in large settlements the cost price of one kilowatt-hour, made by diesel-generator, - from 18 to 45 roubles. But there there is oil, there is peat. There are no only investments (for transition to other kind of fuel)", - the governor Victor Kress has told.
The head of «Russian Fuel Company» has declared that the scientific potential of the Tomsk region also interests him. "The peat institute has interested (the Siberian Scientific Research Institute of Agriculture and Peat). I am not ready to speak about concrete projects now, but we will work together for sure", - has informed Nikolay Brykin the journalists.
According to the governor, the cooperation with «Russian Fuel Company» becomes "the second breath" for the institute. "Before it (institute) was engaged only in peat application in agriculture, and now they can develop its fuel properties", - Victor Kress has told.
