In Tomsk oblast the Year of Youth have been summed up

«More than 300 actions – only official figure of statistics of the Year of Youth in Tomsk oblast. There were even more, - governor Victor Kress has told in the speech. - Let this past Year of Youth become a start - up for your new accomplishments. And we shall help you with it».

«I am sure that students are not exempts, not those who needs to be helped as socially unprotected people. Youth - the main advantage of Tomsk, huge force which moves city forward. The problem of authority – to give youth opportunities, a fishing tackle, and they will catch a fish not only for themselves, but also for the city, areas and the country», - has emphasized, addressing to young people, the mayor of Tomsk Nikolay Nikolajchuk.

At the ceremony of summarizing of the Year of Youth have come more than 400 sportsmen, young scientists, businessmen, participants of public associations and fighters of student's groups. Victor Kress has handed over grants of the governor of Tomsk oblast to 32 students of higher educational institutions of region. 20 Tomsk students the nominal certificates certifying the right on receiving of the grant of municipal formation "City of Tomsk", were handed over by Nikolay Nikolajchuk. Rector of TPU Petr Chubik has awarded winners of the annual premium for support of talented youth within the framework of the priority national project "Education", founded with the decree of the President of the Russian Federation. And the head of executive committee of Tomsk regional branch of the party «United Russia» Vladimir Kravchenko has awarded with the diplomas of gratitude the youth public organizations which have brought in the contribution to carrying out of the Year of Youth in Tomsk oblast.

Besides it the delivery of memorable breastplates has taken place in honour of the 50-anniversary of movement of building groups. Mayor of Tomsk informed about the decision to hand over a medal to Anton Zolotov, chairman of social organization of students of TSU, deceased in October. The award was received by Anton`s widow, the hall has stood in memory of the bright youth leader.

Besides youth and Tomsk students in the final ceremony of the Year of Youth in Tomsk oblast have taken part rectors of Tomsk universities, heads of youth movements and student's social organizations.
