Congratulation of the governor and the speaker on the New Year

From the childhood the New year for us is time of miracles, gifts, warm friendly meetings at a New Year tree, sincere family talks at the chime sound. Each of us - an adult or a child - waits for realization of all most treasured desires, hopes and plans during this coming new year.
The year 2009, despite of a complex economic situation, we managed to not admit crash of the industrial enterprises and civil engineering firms, to keep social obligations and to stabilize the labour market.

In the Year of Youth our scientific-educational complex has pleased us once again with its successes. Tomsk Polytechnic University has received the status of National Research University, the number of small enterprises grows at Tomsk high schools, which accumulate the innovative potential of region and allow to create thousand new workplaces for youth, institutes of innovation are created at two universities.

2009 became "a star year" in realization of the gold project «Tomsk – a city-forum». In the regional center about thirty forums and the international conferences devoted to problems of a science, education and innovations were lead. Tomsk received visitors of XII Innovative forum, stars of microsurgery world, specialists of different spheres: pediatrics, a surgical affair, physics, chemistry.

All these successes and achievements became possible only due to joint efforts of authority, business, science and all Tomsk inhabitants.

Let coming year of 2010 becomes for all a year of creative and fruitful work, time of new achievements. We wish you and your relatives to have a lot of health, material welfare, happiness and success in the New Year!
