The governor held bodies meeting

"The main result of this visit - the further movement of Russia and China towards each other", told the governor. He also informed that he has signed the agreement between Tomsk oblast and company "Sibey" about the creation in region of a timber industry cluster." The total sum of investments which the Chinese party is going to enclose in creation of cluster, is estimated in 1 billion 620 million dollars. Besides I have visited Shenyang special economic zone and have received an interesting offer - about the construction in Tomsk of a trading - expocentre where the production of Shenyang special economic zone" would be fully presented, Victor Kress told and called the management of the mayoralty to think about the variants of allocation of 12-15 hectares of the ground within the territory Tomsk for this complex.

The chapter of region also noted that the exhibition of the last week "Oil. Gas, Geology" has shown that the existing areas of Technopark do not correspond any more to the level of a such event. "I know that there are various offers, there are projects, but they need to be studied and it is necessary to create in Tomsk a permanent regional exhibition center", Victor Kress told.

During the meeting Victor Kress paid attention to the question of creation of a Federal University in Tomsk. "The question is not easy, the attitude in the high school community is miscellaneous to it but I think that the Federal University should be in Tomsk. Otherwise we will begin to lose to the neighbour regions", the governor believes.

He paid also attention to the necessity of increasing of quantity and quality of preparation of  the experts with an engineering formation. "Especially it concerns the preparation of atomic engineers ", Victor Kress emphasized.

On the results of a charitable marathon lead by the broadcasting company TV-2 "A simple miracle" the chapter of region has entrusted to study in details the question of finishing the repair in a building of the children's rehabilitation center "Hope". "It is necessary to find out precisely, how many money is necessary and to hand over the case this year, - Victor Kress told. - We have also allocated money for purchase of the equipment for children's hematologic center in the Clinical Hospital of Tomsk oblast. I think that all questions concerning health of children should be priority for Tomsk public health services".
