The Chapter of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia Alexey Gordeyev met the governor of Tomsk oblast Victor Kress
As the press-service of the ministry informs, the special attention at the meeting was given to consideration of questions of interaction of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia and the administration of region regarding maintenance of realization of the State program of development of agriculture and regulation of the markets of agricultural products, raw material and the foodstuffs for 2008-2012, first of all, increases in rates of development of branch of animal industries.
On this day relative density of production of animal industries makes 52 %, plant growing - 48 %. The Tomsk oblast occupies the lead position in the Siberian federal district on efficiency of dairy herd in the agricultural organizations.
Besides Victor Kress informed minister about creation in Tomsk of the large agrarian educational center which will carry out preparation of experts of mass trades, highly skilled staff and to provide their retraining.
