The Tomsk governor has held a working meeting with representatives of Russian-German Energy Agency and the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation

Today the governor of Tomsk oblast Victor Kress has carried on negotiations with the president of Russian-German Energy Agency Thomas Hendel, representatives of German companies "Energofichtner" and «Siemens» - technical director Mario Byonish and the head of projects Sergey Guskov, and also the leading expert of the department of monitoring of realization energy saving programs and projects of department of the state power policy and energy effectiveness the Ministries of power of the Russian Federation Michael Soloviyev.

In the opinion of the Tomsk governor, «to spend power resources in such a way as we spend them today, we must not». «We waste our goods, housing and communal services, and in general the competitiveness of our country», Victor Kress has told.

According to the president of Russian-German Energy Agency Thomas Hendel, introduction energy saving technologies in Tomsk, will allow to lower the power consumption, for example, of an apartment house, for 90 percent.

The German party promises to involve in financing of the project Russian and German banks. The contract about the joint activity on realization of the Tomsk project is supposed to be signed in February, 2010.
