Dear Tomsk residents of Tomsk region!

Victor Kress, the governor of Tomsk region, visiting the Netherlands this week as a member of the trade and economic mission, positively accepted the news that four political parties suggested Dmitry Medvedev as a candidate for the position of the president of the Russian Federation.

Victor Kress, the governor of Tomsk region believes that the region has great potential for the development of cooperation with the Netherlands in the areas of exploration and production of natural resources, timber processing, agriculture, as well as in the fields of science, education and innovations.

Today, Victor Kress, the governor of Tomsk region met with Antony Brenton, the Ambassador of Great Britain to Russia. During the meeting victor Kress briefly presented Tomsk region to the guest having told about the natural resources and intellectual potential of the region.

The first interregional workshop conference "Modern nuclear power station: benefits amd risks" started today in Tomsk on the initiative of "Siberian Accord" Inter-regional association of economic interaction of subjects of the Russian Federation, other non-governmental organisations and under the auspices of the Government of Tomsk region.
