09:00 - The First of September the governor will meet at three schools of Tomsk oblast

On the Day of Knowledge, on September, 1, the governor Victor Kress will visit on this solemn occasion the schools of Tomsk, Molchanovsky and Parabelsky regions.

A working morning of the governor (9:00) will begin with opening of a new school building in the settlement Basandajka of Tomsk oblast. The two-storeyed school with the concrete base, with the built in workshops, a modern sports hall and a dining room has been constructed for 1 year (building has begun in summer of 2009). From an outer side the building is sheathed by a siding. The total area of this new educational institution — 1600 sq. metres. 80 persons here can study, also is planned to organise a class of preschool preparation on 25 places and to carry out at school all cultural-entertaining actions for inhabitants of settlement.

At 11 o’clock Victor Kress will visit on a solemn occasion the school of the village Narga in Molchanovsky region. A new building of two-storeyed school with workshops, a dining room and a modern sports hall also is erected to 120 pupils for 1 year.

New buildings of schools in Basandajka and Narga have cost to regional and local budgets 52–58 million roubles everyone and have replaced shabby wooden buildings of old schools.

At 13 o’clock the governor will visit school-grammar in the settlement Parabel. Here in 2009 there has been begun an extension erection to school in which elementary classes will take places. Earlier the elementary school settled down in a building of preschool educational institution which the regional authorities have decided to use for the designated purpose because of shortage of places in kindergartens.

The extension is two-storeyed, with educational classes for 100 persons and an assembly hall. The accomplishment is executed, the new access road is made. For these purposes of 25 million roubles it has been allocated by Open Society «Vostogazprom», 12 million roubles — from the budget of Parabelsky region, 3,8 million roubles — means of the federal budget.

In total for 2010 from the regional budget for repair of rural schools it is allocated 50 million roubles. Means are directed on repair of four schools — village Nelmach of Parabelsky region, village Krasny Yar of Krivosheinsky region, village Urtam of Kozhevnikovsky region and village Pudino (town Kedrovy).

1,5 million roubles are put on manufacturing of the design-budget documentation for schools which will be under repair in 2011.

In total in the Tomsk region 31 schools require major repairs or new building. The governor intends to realise the program on their updating during the next several years.
